What is Internal Family Systems?
Internal Family Systems is a transformative, evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people heal by accessing and loving their protective and wounded inner parts.
About Internal Family Systems
This type of therapy believes individuals have different parts within themselves. Just like members of a family, inner parts are forced from their helpful states into extreme roles within. IFS believes everyone has a core self which innately knows how to help heal the body and mind. This modality is an empowering paradigm for understanding and harmonizing the mind, and thereby the larger human systems. In IFS you are welcome, and all your parts are welcome too.
"All parts of you are welcome here
exactly as you are,
not as you "should" be."
Dr. Richard Schartz
