Welcome ~
I Am So Glad You're Here!

I am a psychotherapist dedicated to helping others identify what feels difficult and take courageous steps toward lasting change. One of my greatest joys is listening with care and compassion to those who are hurting, while helping them move toward healing, growth, and wholeness.

We all experience seasons when life feels confusing or overwhelming, and we need help making sense of our story. It would be my honor to walk alongside you through those moments—to provide support, insight, and hope as we work together to find the way forward. I am deeply committed to offering my best as we partner on your journey toward a more whole and meaningful life.

Meet Courtney Holbrook

My greatest treasure is my family. When I’m not reading, studying, or preparing for clients, I spend my time with my husband and our four children. I can truly say that I am happily married and deeply fulfilled in my role as a wife and mother. However, the first ten years of our marriage were far from easy. I lacked the skills to connect with my husband on a deeper emotional level. It wasn’t until we sought professional counseling that I found my voice and began to experience the kind of emotional closeness I longed for.

Before becoming a counselor, I served in college ministry both in the United States and abroad. I worked with Student Mobilization at the University of Mississippi and the University of Arkansas. My years overseas as a college pastor exposed me to a rich diversity of people and cultures, deepening my appreciation for the unique stories and backgrounds each person carries. Yet, transitioning to a new culture and language came with its own challenges—loneliness, loss of community, and periods of deep isolation.

After eight years abroad, I reached an emotional breaking point. During that season, I sought the care of professional counselors who helped me begin to heal and make sense of my experiences. Around that same time, my husband and I began marriage and family therapy, which completely transformed our relationship—from emotionally disconnected to deeply connected and thriving.

Receiving professional counseling in 2013 renewed my hope and gave me a deeper understanding and love for both myself and my spouse. That hope became an anchor through many of life’s storms in the years that followed. A few years later, our fourth child was born and diagnosed with Down Syndrome. His diagnosis was initially traumatic and took time to process. Once again, I found myself leaning on God and supported by the compassionate care of a professional counselor. The counseling I received through these transitions helped me gain perspective, stay grounded, and move forward—no longer alone, but connected.

My hope for every individual and couple who walks through my door is that they, too, will experience the same kind of renewal and transformation that changed my life. I strive to create a safe, caring, and nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can take root.

If you find yourself in a season of confusion, pain, or disconnection—I understand. You don’t have to walk through it alone. Call me today to begin a new chapter of life filled with hope, connection, and renewed purpose.
